Water Whale TYPE25

Water Whale TYPE25

This is a summer-only sake from a famous sake brewery in Kochi Prefecture. When we think of Tosa sake, we imagine a robust sake like Tosatsuru, but this is quite the opposite. The color is clear and the aroma is weakly acidic. The first thing you taste is the sourness. It is a very light sake with little spiciness or sweetness. It is said to be freshly pressed, so it certainly has a fresh taste, but there is almost no sense of effervescence.
