This is a drink I had at "Kodama-ya" in front of Urasa station, a favorite restaurant of mine. It looks like a family restaurant, but the food is first class. I have been a regular customer for 20 years. They have a sake menu, but if you ask, they will serve you a sake that is not on the menu. This time, I entertained a photography teacher, so I first asked him to show me all the alcoholic beverages available in the restaurant.

For the next sake, we selected a very dry sake, also from Takachiyo Shuzo, because the teacher prefers dry sake. This sake was also unfiltered, but the rice was Miyamanishiki.

The color is clear and it is unfiltered, but there is no scent. It is indeed spicy, but it is not hard to drink and makes a good accompaniment to dishes.
