Takagami Shu Unfiltered

Takagami Shu Unfiltered

This is an ambitious product from Takachiyo Sake Brewery as the ultimate home-drinking sake. The price is a surprising 2,200 yen for a bottle. The specifications are undisclosed and the product is extremely limited. This is the "Shu" of the series. The top aroma is of yeast, but it is not what one would call a ginjo aroma. The overt aroma is also yeasty. The taste is light and sweet, with no bitterness or astringency. The addition of brewing alcohol keeps the alcohol content at 15%, making it easy to drink.

Purchased at Kanazawa-ya Sake Shop in Shiozawa, Minamiuonuma, limited to one bottle per person.
